I am Nate Pattee. You might call me your typical 27 year old. Sort of. I guess I’d like to think of myself as being a little different. Or special. Well, special in a good way. I’ve certainly made my fair share of mistakes in life – this, hopefully will not be one of them. You might say that’s why I’m here: I want something more from my life, and I believe P90X will help challenge me to achieve my true potential. A bit of background history: over the past several months, I’ve dropped my weight from approximately 185 to 160 lbs, primarily by eating better foods (no more Taco Bell, McDonald’s, or soda) and by hitting the gym on an almost daily basis. I also don’t eat out nearly as often as I used to, and I think that has helped me to eat less. |

While I am pleased with my weight loss results, I’m looking for a fitness program that will help take me to the next level. I want to be healthier. I want an 8 pack, but I’ll settle for 6, and I want to look in a mirror and be proud of what I’ve accomplished.
Anyways, you don’t really need to know all about me, at least not yet. If you follow this blog throughout my 90 day journey, I’m sure you’ll get to know me pretty well. I’m ready to tackle one of the biggest physical challenges of my life: P90X. I’m sure it’ll be easier said than done, and that’s why I created this website – so you – my tens of millions of fans around the world – can help hold me accountable.
I truly believe I’m ready for this, so follow my progress as I embark on my journey to a better life. It all starts with Day 1 – Thursday, February 17, 2011.
